From the same eucalyptus tree as the bowl, the floating shelf, and the coffee table.
The frame is large — built to hold a full-size mirror. The entire surround is hand-carved with flowing organic relief: the carving covers all four sides continuously, without interruption at the corners. The wood is the same warm orange-red eucalyptus, finished to bring out the grain underneath the carved surface.
